Pleasent surprise today from a grant application we had submitted in January of 2024. $100,000.00 from the County of Erie ARPA Funds to be used towards the Lakeshore Area Sewer Extension here in North East. Many thanks to everyone involved in getting this accomplished.

Please be advised the boil water advisory is over/lifted we just got approval from the DEP and just to say it again we have had no bad test from beginning to the end. Thank you for your patience again.

Good afternoon,

Hydrant flushing throughout the Township’s distribution system has been completed. So a quick rundown of where we are as of now compared to Friday last week.

As of Monday repairs were made to the cover of the Borough’s finish water reservoir. Moving forward all of the finished water in the reservoir was replaced with new finished water which took us into Tuesday to start flushing the distribution system flushing out the existing water with new water that was completed today. Test samples have been taken continuously per our Corrective Action Plan and still to date there has been no bad samples. As always thank you for your patience and we will update you as more information is available.

Just a reminder hydrant flushing resumed at 10:00am today in certain parts of the Township and will be completed today. Testing continues with no bad results. Thanks again for your patience and Merry Christmas. We will update again upon completion.
