We’re a day late, but we love them every day!!

While we can’t stop a fire from starting, properties without active detection or suppression systems experience significantly larger losses, higher injuries, and greater structural destruction when a fire does break out.

And when things get out of hand, it’s these local heroes that run in and save what they can 🔥🧯🚒🫶🏻

Thank you to all our local volunteer firefighters!! 🖤

Today, on Volunteer Firefighters Recognition Day, the North East Fire Company Membership Committee would like to recognize and thank every volunteer who proudly wears our patch.

Behind every emergency response is a volunteer who chose to serve. They leave family dinners, holidays, birthdays, work, and sleep without hesitation to answer a neighbor's call for help. They spend countless hours training, maintaining equipment, mentoring new members, and serving our community; not because they have to, but because they care.

To every firefighter, EMT, Fire Police member, administrative volunteer, junior member, officer, life member, and the families who support them, thank you. Your dedication, sacrifice, and commitment are what make North East Fire Company strong.

Happy Volunteer Firefighters Recognition Day, and thank you for everything you do for North East and the surrounding communities.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to hang with us at North East’s Dog Days of Summer Second Fridays! ❤️

We had the best time meeting all of our furry friends and LOVED seeing so many pups proudly showing off their North East Fire Protection bandanas! 🐶🔥

Seeing all those happy faces (and wagging tails!) made our night. We hope you and your four-legged friends had as much fun as we did!

Greg has accepted the important job of Official Treat Distributor for North East’s 2nd Fridays: Dog Days of Summer on August 14 from 5–8 PM… and he’s taking his duties very seriously. 🍖🐶

Bring your favorite four-legged friend to North East Fire Protection for a tail-wagging good time, free treats, belly rubs (if approved by Greg), and plenty of smiles.

Don’t make Greg eat all the treats himself… although he’s definitely willing. 🦴😂
