🚨 The North East Police Department is Requesting the Public’s Assistance 🚨

The North East Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the vehicle and/or driver of vehicle below.

On July 16, 2026, at approximately 10:28 PM, this vehicle was involved in an incident on Wall Street in the North East Borough where it left the roadway striking a gas meter. The vehicle is a white SUV, possibly a Hyundai Tucson SUV (approximately 2019–2021 model year) or a Honda CRV and was last seen traveling westbound from the area.

The vehicle may have damage to the front passenger-side fender cladding and/or wheel arch trim and possible front passenger wheel damage.

Adam Robinson, 31 of Erie, white male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Pennsylvania State Police are searching for Adam Robinson, after a high-speed chase in Erie County involving three children in the vehicle. The pursuit reached speeds over 110 mph before ending

Adam Robinson, 31 of Erie, white male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Yesterday at approximately 9:30 a.m., the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) attempted to conduct a lawful traffic stop on a vehicle that had been clocked traveling at a high rate of speed on Route 20 in the township. The driver failed to yield to PSP’s emergency lights and siren and continued into the North East Borough.

Shortly thereafter, the North East Police Department observed the same vehicle traveling erratically on Blaine Street. The driver passed multiple vehicles in an unsafe manner and disregarded traffic control devices, creating a significant danger to other motorists and pedestrians. When officers attempted to initiate a lawful traffic stop, the driver again failed to yield to emergency lights and siren and fled southbound out of the borough at a high rate of speed where the pursuit was subsequently terminated.

We appreciate everyone who provided information that helped identify this individual.

The safety of our community is our highest priority. Reckless driving and fleeing from law enforcement place innocent motorists, pedestrians, and first responders at unnecessary risk. We remain committed to holding those who endanger our community accountable while making every effort to protect the safety of the public.

That time of year again! Safety Town 2026. Yesterday, Officers Orzechowski Cornelius, and Constable Horanic held the annual event where the kids learned the rules of the road and street signs. They also discussed summer safety. Thank you again to Marchini 4 of Clubs for their donation from their bowling tournament to help purchase new carts for the kids! Thank you also to the NE Water and Streets Departments for the help and assembling the carts! See you next year!

Another lost pup found and the NEPD is looking for assistance in locating his owner. Male chocolate Lab found down by the NESD ball fields at about 4pm. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Please call the NEPD at 814-725-4407

It was reported that this pup was taken to the Anna Shelter this afternoon. The dog was found by Better Baked Foods. As always, the shelter will hold the dog for 48 hours. Please Share. Thank you.
