Wow, what an incredible learning and teaching experience with our sponsors and long time friends at Volvo Cars here in South Carolina. I was given unparalleled access to 2025 EVs such as the
EC- 90 and Polestar factory technology. Gonna take all of this great new technology info directly to attendees of my workshop at FDIC in Indy on Monday. It's been quite awhile since I've posted here, and for that we apologize. The great news is that we've been crazy busy teaching, learning, and sharing all over the world. Just before Christmas, we returned from a month long teaching assignment that had us doing Coastal Water Rescue for an ARFF crew in the South Pacific.

We've got another busy Spring training season that includes my 4 hour NVT Rescue / Electric Vehicle Fires workshop at FDIC in Indy, a big Heavy Rescue program in Minnesota, and a host of other great programs.

My apology for the lack of communication. What a year! Started in January-May on the island of Am. Samoa, summer teaching in Vietnam, and just returned from 3 week assignment in Europe. Lots of classes here in the states in between. Still a few spots left for our big RIT / Survival program at Berks Fire Weekend in Reading, PA weekend of Oct 13. Following weekend Oct 21, we’ve got brand new 2018 XC90 Volvo cars we’ll be cutting up for our New Vehicle Technology Rescue class in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. Fortunately / unfortunately that class is maxed out. Stay Safe, and God Bless!

Next week we head to Woodhaven, Michigan where we will present a 2 day Tanker Truck Rescue / Flowing Fuel Firefighting program. This program is completely sold out, but the Michigan class is the first of a national series, and we will be offering it throughout the country. Stay tuned for a class in your area!

Busy spring here at 5Star and On Scene Training. Lots of new an exciting training opportunities coming this year, including a a HUGE acquired structure for live fire programs in July. Flowing fuel fire / Tanker fire training, Advanced NVT Training, and lots of other great classes, with world class instructors. This in addition to Berks County Fire Weekend, Low Country Fire / EMS Weekend, and many of us teaching programs at FDIC. Stay tuned

Here in the Great State of Louisiana. This trip, we are "down the bayou" doing Engine Ops, Truck Ops, Aerial Ops, and a little extrication. Working with Bayou Cane, Dularge, Bayou Blue, Bayou Black, Protector, Thibideaux and a couple of other fine departments. When are we coming to your department?

Come join us in Charleston, South Carolina area this weekend for the Lowcountry Fire & EMS Weekend. Carl will be doing vehicle rescue with Jim Payne. Lots of other great programs too! From there, Carl travels to New Orleans and then down into the Bayou with the team for lots of Engine and Truck Co. HOT training!
