Northeast Company 4 is pleased to congratulate FF Hayden Mulhern on his graduation from the Connecticut Fire Academy. Over the past three months, he has consistently demonstrated dedication and perseverance. Hayden initially started off as an Explorer at Northeast company 4 and during his time here, he has shared valuable knowledge with everyone.

Northeast Company 4 congratulates Steve Hansen, Reuben Collado, and Roberto Demacedo on completing their probationary training. Steven and Roberto were sworn in on April 21st, and Reuben Collado on May 19th. Their hard work and dedication are truly appreciated.

Northeast Company 4 would like to congratulate Cole Januszewski on completing his Firefighter 1 certification as well as being sworn in on 2/25/2026.

Cole has been working hard towards completing Firefighter 1 and has been determined throughout his probationary period here at Northeast. From day one Cole has proven that he is persistent and dedicated in completing his probationary duties.

Northeast Company 4 is proud to welcome its newest certified Firefighter.

all the fire departments in the county need help. We’ve heard all the excuses. I can’t commit to (fill in the blank), I’m not always available, I’m too young/old, I don’t know anything about it. They are just excuses. We are all volunteers. We can when we can and we can’t when we can’t.
This is an incredible job you get paid for in ways that aren’t money. If you’ve ever thought about it, contact the VFD in your area. The hardest part, is walking through that station door the first time.
We all live in the communities we serve. How can you make a difference?
Every fire department across the country needs help.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who supported and welcomed us during the 2025 Santa Run. Your kindness, enthusiasm, and generosity helped make this event truly special and allowed us to spread holiday cheer to 125 households this year.

It is a privilege to serve a community that shows such incredible support, not only during events like this but throughout the year. Seeing the smiles, excitement, and holiday spirit from our customers is what makes all the hard work worthwhile.
