As the PTAs of North Haven Public Schools, we’ve received questions about our role in the upcoming school budget referendum.

While PTAs do not create, manage, or vote on the Board of Education budget, we are committed to advocating for children and supporting our schools. Because budget decisions directly affect students, families, educators, and school programs, we believe it’s important for our community to stay informed.

The revised Board of Education budget, which will be voted on June 9, includes staff and program reductions, increased class sizes, and other changes that will impact students across North Haven.

As organizations dedicated to the welfare and education of children, we encourage all eligible voters to learn about the proposed budget, understand its potential impact on our schools, and participate in the referendum process.

Every vote matters. Together, we remain committed to supporting the students, families, educators, and staff who make North Haven schools strong.

Join us for our final Ridge Road PTA Membership Meeting of the school year!

We’ll be meeting in person on Thursday, June 4 at 7:00 PM in the Ridge Road Library. This is a great opportunity to hear year-end updates, celebrate all we’ve accomplished together, recognize our amazing volunteers, and look ahead to the 2026-2027 school year.

Whether you’ve attended every meeting or this would be your first, we’d love to see you there. Thank you for helping make this a fantastic year for our students, staff, and school community!
