A couple reminders-

1) Remember our upcoming Bingo Night:
We will hold our regular Monthly Bingo Night on Friday Sept 11th, 18:00 at the Post.
20 Church Street adjacent to North Haven Town Hall across from the Green.
Bring a snack. Water and coffee are provided.

2) Also Remember: We will resume our regular Post 76 meeting to begin our new Season on Sept. 17th at 19:00.
Bring a snack to share. Water and coffee are provided. Hope to see you there.

September 10th North Haven Fair, color guard and members to meet at 16:45
September 11th Monthly Bingo 18:00
September 12th 9-11 Memorial Ceremony at the Shoreline Trolley Museum, Color guard at 9:00, Members at 9:45.

JUST A REMINDER:

West Haven, CT Patient Parking Garage Changes:

Starting Monday, August 17th the Spring Street Side entrance to the West Haven parking garage will be open for both incoming and outgoing traffic. As always, Veterans, visitors, and staff are encouraged to follow posted signage and remain alert to the flow of traffic within and around the garage.

Garage crosswalk
Pedestrians should use designated walkways and crosswalks when entering and exiting the parking garage. Please refrain from walking directly into the garage from the vehicle entrance/exit lanes.

Garage WH
Drivers should use caution and remain attentive to pedestrians particularly near the entrance and exit.

We recommend allowing a few extra minutes when arriving for your appointment, particularly during peak hours.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we prepare to safely transition the garage into full operation. Thank you for your service and allowing VA Connecticut to serve you.

ANNUAL POST 76 PICNIC

This Saturday, August 8th at 13:00 we will hold our annual Picnic.

If you would like to bring your favorite side dish, salad, or a dessert to share- that would be very much appreciated.

Looking forward to seeing our Post 76 friends and spouses once again, to catch up on your Summer adventures!

West Haven Parking Garage alert:

BREAKING: Two U.S. service members were killed in a strike on a base in Jordan overnight, according to U.S. Central Command.

A third service member is missing in action, CENTCOM said.

Four other U.S. service members were medically evacuated to hospital in Jordan, and have since been discharged. There were other service members treated for minor injuries, CENTCOM said.
