JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Communications Supervisor, responsible for manning the Grafton County public safety communication center, including responding to a wide variety of emergency and other calls and performing appropriate record keeping, filing, and report preparation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Duties require knowledge of radio transmission or computer skills equivalent to completion of a high school diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to learn the principles involved in the operation of radio, telephone, computer, and related communications equipment. Ability to learn local and State laws and ordinances as required. Ability to learn the County’s geographic areas.

Minimum requirements include: Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, be a
U.S. Citizen, and must be a resident of Grafton County within six (6) months of appointment. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with post-secondary education preferred. Applicants must be able to pass a physical agility test, written examination and oral interview process. Finalist for position will undergo a thorough pre-employment investigation, psychological evaluation, polygraph exam and medical evaluation.

Job Summary: Provides resident care in a manner that supports and compliments standards of nursing practice.

Qualifications: Must have completed an approved LNA training program and be licensed/licensable in New Hampshire. Requires knowledge of relevant state and federal laws. Requires standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, twisting and ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs). Also requires patience, empathy, and a strong desire to assist residents and demonstrate love for the elderly. Keen vision, hearing and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing are a must.
