Camp Knock Knock is an annual weekend program designed to support grieving children & their caregivers. It offers a safe space to connect, share, and heal through community, remembrance, and play.
With a blend of grief support groups, a candlelight ceremony, and classic camp fun—arts & crafts, recreation, and entertainment—families find both joy and space for their grief.
Camp Knock Knock is currently enrolling grieving families for our upcoming camp weekend: June 12–14, 2026. To learn more, please reach out to [email protected] or contact us via our website: https://campknockknock.org/contact Limited spots available.

Congresswoman Becca Balint presenting $500,000 to North Hero today to help fund the North Hero water reliability project. North Hero has received a total of 2.2 million in state and federal funding making a reliable ‘last mile’ infrastructure project possible in a rural and geographically challenging area. Congratulations to the town of North Hero for your outstanding work in securing these funds.

Great first day of the S.H.O.R.E. project’s Grand Tour with consultants from SE Group. We were met by a good crowd of residents at Wally’s and interacted with several business owners and residents along the route. Day 2 tomorrow. You can meet us at Allenholm to ride along, or meet us at Seb’s at 2 to share thoughts and have some ice cream on us.

This week’. Rain or shine!

We invite you to join us for the South Hero Grand Tour, a bike ride and a conversation about how to make South Hero more walkable and bikeable. We want to hear from cyclists and non-cyclists!
The tour consists of LCIEDC staff and consultants from SE Group, a firm that specializes in creating active transportation solutions. The team will conduct a site visit and a public engagement event on June 21 and 22, 2024, to gather input from the community and stakeholders.
You can choose to participate in one or both of the following ways:
1.) Ride along and discuss your experiences with the project team. You can meet us at Allenholm Farm (Friday, 9am, Saturday, 10am).  We’ll move at a leisurely pace and include plenty of stops to discuss the good and bad of cycling in South Hero.
2.) Meet us at Wally’s Place (Friday, 10am) or Seb’s Snack Bar (Saturday, 2pm) for exhibits and discussion. You can view the project materials, share your ideas and feedback, and ask questions to the project team.  LCIEDC will provide refreshments.
