Please take 5 minutes and sign this! AmeriCorps NCCC is a great program that assists community-serving organizations who need help--often, they do not have the funding or other resources to complete the tasks that NCCC members accomplish for them (and the cost of an NCCC member is a fraction of what it would take to get things done otherwise). Not to mention that the NCCC program is a great way for youth to get hands-on life and work skills (and opportunities) they may not get elsewhere. It just doesn't make sense to cut a program that does so much good for so many (and for so little cost!). I can personally say serving on an NCCC team was one of the greatest things I've done, and I feel like we really gave a lot to the communities we worked in. Thank you.

A year ago the first round stage of our team was mostly (minus Gwen and Luke) in Moab, UT, freezing our butts off at night anyway, but having a great time checking out Arches National Park and the surrounding area. We're all in different places now, but I hope everyone has an equally great Thanksgiving!
