This accident occurred last week on Ensign Pond road. Please use caution when driving our back roads, we have a lot of sharp corners.

It is with great sadness that the North Hudson Volunteer Fire Department announces the passing of Emmett Thompson, on Friday, July 24, 2026. Not only was Emmett a husband, a father, a brother, and a friend, but he was also a member of our department.

Emmett's services will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 11:00AM - 1:00 PM, at the Edward L Kelly Funeral Home located in Schroon Lake. Followed by interment at the North Hudson Cemetery.

Please keep Emmett's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
