☀️ Summer isn’t over yet, and we’re not rushing it away! We’re soaking up this last month of sunshine, fun, and time together.

Join us on Sunday, August 16th for our Annual Blessing of the Backpacks during worship as we pray for students, teachers, and school staff as they prepare for the new school year.

After the service, stay for our church picnic as we celebrate the end of summer with food and fellowship. Everyone is welcome! 🎒🙏🌭

More than just a meal.

Did you know that for many homebound seniors in the Norwin area, our volunteers are the only people they see all day?

While national news headlines are highlighting the massive infrastructure challenges senior nutrition programs face right now, we are working hard to strengthen our roots right here at home.

That’s why we are incredibly grateful to share that we’ve received a $10,000 grant from Meals on Wheels America, which received a generous donation from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott. This funding will directly support our daily operations, helping us fight senior hunger and isolation across Norwin communities.

To our volunteers, donors, and community partners: this win belongs to all of us. Thank you for helping our neighbors age safely and independently with dignity.

We celebrated our volunteers with a picnic! Due to the heat, we stayed inside and made the best of it. The food and fellowship made it a great day.

What a day! 🎉

Yesterday’s volunteer picnic was a wonderful reminder of how lucky we are at Norwin Area Meals on Wheels. It was definitely a scorcher out there, but moving the fun indoors kept us cool and didn't stop us from having a blast!

Our volunteers are the driving force behind everything we do, and getting together to celebrate them—in any weather—is always a highlight of our year. A huge thank you to everyone who came out, brought delicious dishes, and shared a laugh.

We love our volunteer family! 💛
