🌿 Earlier this month, our 3rd graders took a special trip to Gabis Arboretum in Valparaiso! Students explored the wonders of nature through STEM on the Trails, a dynamic outdoor learning adventure where science, nature, and imagination come together. It was a wonderful opportunity for our Bluejays to get outside, discover new things, and learn through hands-on exploration!

Another successful Relay Recess! There is something incredibly special about coming together as a school family to support a meaningful cause and spend the day with the person who inspired it all — Caleb! 🧡
iCaleb & Co. was founded in 2012 after Caleb was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. During his hospital stays, an iPad became an incredible tool to help keep him entertained and connected with family through FaceTime.
Today, iCaleb & Co. raises funds to provide iPads, protective cases, and iTunes gift cards to families navigating cancer treatments, helping them stay connected and bringing a little comfort during a difficult time. Having the opportunity to spend the day with Caleb and Mrs. Hoppe made this experience even more meaningful. Seeing the person behind the cause and understanding the impact of this foundation reminds us why giving back matters so much.

Thank you to our Bluejay family for showing up, giving generously, and making a difference for families who need it most. Also, thank you to those teachers willing to take a pie to the face to encourage the donations! This is what being a school family is all about! Our Bluejays came together and raised enough money to purchase TWO iPads to support this incredible mission! 🧡

Caleb, the inspiration behind iCaleb & Co., is now a student at NJSP, and his mom is one of our amazing Kindergarten teachers! We are so lucky to have them as part of our Bluejay family. Let’s come together and show our support for Caleb, his family, and the incredible work of iCaleb & Co.!

Last week, we celebrated our Bluejays in a BIG way! 💙 Homecoming spirit combined with the recognition of our Bluejay Way students created an unforgettable morning!

We were incredibly lucky to have some of our high school football players, cheerleaders, band members, and student council join us to cheer on our Bluejay Way recipients. In return, our young Bluejays sent the team off with plenty of spirit and excitement!

From fun Minute-to-Win-It games and incredible cheers and dances from our cheerleaders, to high-fives from our football players and the sound of our amazing high school band—there was excitement around every corner!

There is no shortage of school spirit, pride, and love for our Bluejay family! 💙💛What a special week to be a Bluejay!
