Winner Notification & Forfeiture: The winner will be notified via the contact information provided on the raffle ticket stub or electronic purchase record immediately following the drawing on September 7, 2026. While the winner does not need to be present for the drawing, the winner must be physically present locally to sign over the vehicle title. The raffle winner will have exactly fifteen (15) calendar days from the drawing date (Deadline: September 22, 2026) to have the title signed over locally. If the winner fails to execute the local title transfer or respond within the 15-day period, they will completely forfeit their winnings, and a secondary winner will be chosen from the original physical ticket pool.
Tax & Legal Compliance: Per Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations, gambling and raffle winnings are treated as ordinary taxable income. Because the Associations are covering the federal tax withholding on the winner's behalf, the IRS mandates a 33.33% "Gross-Up" withholding formula. The total reported prize value on IRS Form W-2G will include both the final assessed fair market value of the 2013 Honda Accord Crosstour EX-L and the cash tax payments made on the winner's behalf. The winner must legally provide a valid Social Security Number (SSN) or Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and a government-issued photo identification to the Associations before the title transfer can be finalized. Failure or refusal to provide a valid SSN or TIN will result in immediate, complete forfeiture of all winnings, and a secondary winner will be selected. Any year-end state or local income tax liabilities remain the sole responsibility of the winner. The donating dealership shall remain anonymous to the public. This event is conducted jointly by the North Lewisburg Police Association and the North Lewisburg Fireman’s Association in strict accordance with Chapter 2915 of the Ohio Revised Code.
