🐺 When wolves disappeared from Yellowstone National Park, the entire ecosystem was affected. In this session we'll learn about how they brought back the wolves, and the park came back to life.

⏰ Our next 5 week session will take place Fridays from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. from Sept. 3 to Oct. 2, in place of our regularly scheduled storytime. Registration link in comments.

📣 New story alert! Enjoy a stroll around Liberty Centre Pond to check out the StoryWalk now featuring 𝘔𝘺 𝘉𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘺 by Sara Greenwood.

🫂 In this moving picture book, a young girl reflects on the emotions and challenges of growing up with a brother who is incarcerated.

Based on the author’s childhood experiences, this touching story is an NCTE Charlotte Huck Award Honor Book, an NPR Best Book of the Year, and a Charlotte Zolotow Honor Book.

The Friends of the NL Library are helping collect books for a Little Free Library in Sawyer Havel's memory. The collection box will be available at the library through the end of September.

Sawyer Havel, age 14, was killed in a tragic accident on July 9th. His family is creating a Little Free Library as a memorial. The Friends of the NL Library are asking for your book donations to help. There's a decorated collection box at the NL Library where you can leave books for the memorial. Thanks in advance for your help and support.
