North Liberty Summer Lunch & Fun

North Liberty Summer Lunch & Fun Free lunch & activities for kids in the summer! Cherry St., just to the south of the historic home. (There will be no program on July 4.)

Hosted by the City of North Liberty, The North Liberty Summer Lunch & Fun program provides a free lunch and a daily activity for kids and youth ages 0 to 18 every weekday during the summer months. The program is held at the Ranshaw House, 515 Community Drive, or, in the case of inclement weather, at the Community Center, 520 W. Lunch is served from 11:30am to 12:15pm followed by an activity from 1

2 to 1pm weekdays, June 10-August 16, 2024. Summer Lunch & Fun is made possible by the City of North Liberty, the North Liberty Community Pantry and several area businesses and individual residents. Now that Summer Lunch & Fun 2026 is at an end, we want to thank all of the wonderful people who make it happen! So, thank you to our VOLUNTEERS for generously donating their time this summer! 8/14: Wouldn’t you know it? MORE RAIN!

We will move Summer Lunch into the Rec Center lower level today and serve lunch from 11:30 until about 12:15 (possibly a bit later).

Unfortunately, this means we will not have our Big Bang Bubble activity today, but the library is hoping to reschedule it for the future!

Even without bubbles we’ll still have pizza, fruit, veggies, and plenty of sweet treats! Plus, free food items to take home!

Today (8/14) is the last day of SL&F 2026! That means we need to empty the Ranshaw House fridge and pantry shelves. Be sure to check out our Free Food cooler and boxes at lunch today to find some goodies to take home. 🎉
