🛠️ Building Bright Futures in the Plumbing Trade! 🛠️

We were excited to deliver Milwaukee Tool bags to two of our Springdale pre-apprentices, Tyler Conn and Cameron Feldman, in recognition of their hard work and accomplishments!

Tyler and Cameron successfully completed Level 1 of the Plumbing Pre-Apprenticeship Program at Springdale High School, earning 160 classroom hours toward their apprenticeship.

Now, while completing their senior year of high school, both have taken the next step and are officially registered as Youth Plumbing Apprentices and working for Action Mechanical!

This is exactly what the pre-apprenticeship pathway is all about—giving students the opportunity to gain valuable training while in high school and creating a direct pathway into a career in the skilled trades.

Congratulations, Tyler and Cameron! These two young men have a bright future ahead of them! 👏🔧

ABC Arkansas’ NWA Young Professionals FLEX (Future Leaders Exchange) brought emerging industry leaders together on August 27 for an afternoon of meaningful conversation, mentorship and networking. Attendees participated in moderated roundtable discussions focused on career growth, pathways to success, work/life balance and exchanging ideas and best practices before wrapping up with a networking happy hour. A special thank you to Crossland Construction Company, Inc. for hosting us in their Rogers office and to our executive mentors: Chris Schnurbusch and Jason Miller with Crossland Construction, Jason Eldredge with Emery Sapp & Sons, Ryann Hartley with Hartley Commercial, and Wes Taylor with NWA Steel Co.,LLC, for sharing their time, experience and insight with the next generation of industry leaders.

On August 25th, we hosted a first time event centered around all things people - the HR & Talent Exchange! This interactive session featured a panel of experienced industry leaders sharing real-world insights, lessons learned, and best practices from the field, followed by roundtable discussions where attendees could ask questions, exchange ideas, and connect with peers facing many of the same challenges.

Special thanks to our panelists for sharing their insight – Andrew Norman with Nabholz Corporation, Paul Hickman III with CourtHouse Concepts, Inc., Tanner Hubbard with McGeorge Contracting Company and Lisa Jarnagin with VSC Fire & Security, Inc..
