A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers who gave up their Saturday to serve our community!

We were thrilled to be part of the Community Health Fair & Back to School Event at TWC. Every event is a valuable opportunity for us to connect, share vital fire safety tips, and recruit new faces to our team. We couldn't do this work without our dedicated volunteers stepping up—thank you for making a difference! 🔥👏

Crews were dispatched just before 6 a.m. to the 1000 block of E. 46th Street for a confirmed structure fire. While en route, dispatch advised that the fire was threatening two additional structures. Upon arrival, crews found a detached garage fully engulfed, with fire extension to the primary residence and impingement on a neighboring home.

Firefighters made an aggressive attack to stop the forward progress. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The occupied structure sustained exterior siding damage. Crews returned to service just before 8 a.m.

We appreciate the assistance from our mutual-aid partners: East Pulaski Fire Departmentand North Little Rock Battalion 1, Engine 7, and Engine 10.

Extrication is a high-skill discipline we don’t use every day, which is exactly why staying sharp is so critical.
Yesterday, our members hit the training ground to refresh on vehicle stabilization, door and roof removals, and dashboard rolls. Continuous training is what keeps us precise, fast, and ready when it matters most.
Do you have what it takes to serve your community?

Yesterday we were dispatched to the 2700 block of Wooten Rd for a large grass/brush fire. Upon arrival, crews found a large wind driven fire approximately 5 acres and growing rapidly.

Our mutual aid (East Pulaski Fire) was dispatched, along with AR Forestry. Crews made a good stop and contained it to approximately 15 acres.

Please be mindful and don't burn in these dry and windy conditions.
