Brig. Gen. Karin Watson, adjutant general (TAG) of the Guam National Guard, visits Guam National Guard competitors during the 55th Winston P. Wilson Championship and 35th Armed Forces Skill at Arms Meeting at Camp Robinson, Arkansas, April 28, 2026.

Traveling more than 7,000 miles from Guam to Arkansas, the team represents one of the farthest distances traveled by any team at this year’s competition.

Photos 1-4: Competitors take part in the Know Your Limits Barricade Team Match during the 55th Winston P. Wilson Championship and 35th Armed Forces Skill at Arms Meeting at Camp Robinson, Arkansas, April 28, 2026. The team rifle event requires competitors to move into barricade positions, identify targets at unknown distances and manage limited rounds within a set time.

Photos 5-10: Competitors participate in The National Guard Infantry Team Match, a four-person rifle event on a known-distance range. Teams move through rapid-fire stages at 500 and 400 yards, requiring teams to load magazines on the line, have accurate fire distribution, communication and control across the team.

Competitors take part in the Know Your Limits Barricade Team Match during the 55th Winston P. Wilson Championship and 35th Armed Forces Skill at Arms Meeting at Camp Robinson, Arkansas, April 28, 2026.

The rifle event requires teams to move to barricade positions, identify targets at unknown distances and distribute rounds across the team to earn the highest score possible within the time limit.

The event tests more than individual marksmanship. It requires communication, target selection and trust between teammates while giving U.S. and allied competitors another opportunity to compare techniques through competition.
