Will Ruck For Food, Hooah!
216th Military Police Company conducted a ruck march and food drive, March 8, 2026, combining their commitment to both physical readiness and community service.
Soldiers carried rucks while collecting non-perishable food items for the Arkansas Food Bank. The Soldiers and their supporters donated more than 445 pounds of non-perishable food. The donation will help provide meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity across the state.
“The event served as an opportunity for Soldiers to strengthen teamwork, maintain physical fitness, and give back to the community they serve,” said Capt. Araby Branch, 216th MP company commander. “Initiatives like this reflect the dedication of the 216th Military Police Company not only to mission readiness, but also to supporting the citizens of Arkansas.”
The Arkansas Food Bank provides more than 34 million meals to families across 33 counties in central and southern Arkansas.
