As we gather with our friends and family to celebrate the birth of Jesus, let’s also celebrate our love for each other. Although we are not physically together we are bonded forever in our hearts - the joy, the tears, all the emotions that holds us together forever need to be celebrated! My memories are just the best ! I’m thankful beyond words to be a part of your lives - our St. Luke’s Family is one of “Happy Souls”
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas filled with Health-Happiness and Love 🙏 ❤️ 🎄

What a perfect Saturday- I’m so thankful for my Respite family ❣️ I had a car accident 3 weeks ago that has really caused me pause - broken ankle in 3 places ... the bad one ... broken collarbone.. all on the left side so I’m like a one legged duck and can only go in circles...totaled my most favorite vehicle - and expecting about a 12 week recovery time. I was on my way to work early morning and had stopped 2 blocks from the garage on Poplar at 15th, looked both ways started across 15 th and got hit by a truck that stopped about a block and a half away - he was flying... on a “main street “ and I was on a secondary street so I got a ticket for “failure to yield “ grrr... I’m still so fortunate and better every day 🤩

Fr Carey contacted me about Respite and he wants us to restart in some capacity- me too 🙏❤️ Right now we are accessing our current circumstances and options, let me hear from you with your thoughts and let’s make this happen in the next few months - I miss y’all terribly and look forward to seeing your smiling faces 🥰😘

Hello old friends ~ I'm so sorry to have to tell you that Lee Ann Corrigan ~ Raydeen's youngest sister ~ our Lee Ann ~ passed away Friday evening after a short illness - This is so shocking and quick that Raydeen and Dorothy have asked that at this time please respect their privacy and they will keep me advised about you contacting them. As of now there are services tentatively scheduled for Thursday ~ This just breaks my heart and I know we all ache for them ~ I should have more details later today or first thing in the morning ~ Call me anytime about this if you want to ~ Lalia 501-912-9615 and Please Pray

Good Saturday Morning ❣️ I had hoped by now that we would all be together holding hands, singing to Piano Barbara’s sweet music and waiting for a story from Chief Sitting Bull ‼️ Not to be ... at this point.

At work we are pro actively combating covid 19 with ultra violet lighting and needlepoint bipolar ionization in our A/C unit, mask, plexi glass and sanitizing everything all day every day. I want to be safe and return to the routine and people I really enjoy !

We’ve missed several Birthday celebrations - mine was a milestone at 70 and I do want to carry on with the party - eat more cake 🍰🍦June reached 93 and is doing well - she enjoys trying to find things at the grocery store since they’ve done so much rearranging it takes hours .. lol -

I’ve printed voter registration applications and absentee voter request forms for anyone that has a need - they are at 1300 Poplar Street, NLR 72114 and our hours are 7:30-5:30 Monday thru Thursday and 7:30-2:00 on Friday. Also I have cloth mask for men and women donated to Respite from my sister-in-law Merry Zakrzewski -

It sure is lonesome without y’all and I think about you a lot - take good care of yourselves and stay in touch ❣️ Love❤️❤️❤️

Good morning friends - you sure are missed ❣️ my amazing sister in law, Merry Zakrzewski, has graciously made and donated mask for our volunteers - if you would like one call me - 501-376-1519 or 501-912- 9615 - it seems this is going to be our new accessory - Pink bubble pattern for the girls and blue map pattern for the boys - they are so comfortable and hand washable - Merry’s Dad, George Lateana, visited us years ago for a presentation on birds - for years George and his wife Angela had a location in Malvern called “The Feathered Nest” - George raised a variety of birds, emu, pheasants, quail and many more. Angela “carved” egg shells that had been emptied and created quite a collection ‼️ I have several and will share when we return - right now I’m working every day as we are 2 - TWO- employees short and as busy as can be. I love and miss you all and please let me hear from you ❤️

You all are so missed ❣️ each day that keeps moving along I realize more and more how much I need and depend on you. Our strength is our bond of love and caring - for ourselves and each other - I’ve got news that several of us really need prayers for Strength and Peace 🙏 Melba Ho**er, John’s wife, passed away Saturday evening - it’s been a tremendous struggle for many many years for the family so our prayers have always been for “God’s Will” - Their daughter, Hanna, an Episcopal Priest will keep us updated. Mike Karp is in St. Vincent’s LR asking for unspoken prayer request and Robert Graham was found at home unconscious in a diabetic coma - Mike and Robert are both improving but we are continuing our prayer support - Mark Billideau “stumped his toe” and it brought him to the ground - probably lose the nail .... I hope you all know you are very much loved and missed and never forget how proud we are of our Veterans and thank them every day for giving us our life as we know it today ❣️🌺🌷🌹❤️

It’s another Thursday and I sure am missing “The Ole Gang” - I feel like I’m missing something every Thursday and ... I am ❣️ I trust everyone is staying tucked in and finding new things to do - there is always something that needs to be done around our place, maybe not what I would choose but need to do. I find myself watching the weather more often and looking for sunny days - I find comfort in just being outside .... in the sun. Kind of like recharging my batteries. I’m contemplating it’s a good time to sell some of my cookbooks but haven’t taken any action - I really enjoy just reading them - please take care of yourselves and let’s hear from you ❤️❣️
