As we celebrate our Nation’s 250th birthday, the Arkansas National Guard recognizes the part that our Soldiers and Airmen have played since the beginning. In fact, without the militia, there would be no American revolution….no 250th.

We are reminding the citizens of Arkansas about the service and sacrifice made by our Guardsmen every day. During the week leading up to Independence Day, our Army and Air National Guard aviators will be flying over numerous Arkansas cities and towns in a salute to our Nation. Flyover Arkansas will take place in the skies of the Natural State June 29-July2nd. See below for specific cities, days and approximate times for the flights. Members of the Camp Robinson / Camp Pike Community Council recently gathered at the Arkansas National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility on CampRobinson for a rare and exciting opportunity to participate in an orientation flight aboard a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter 🚁🇺🇸

Attendees were able to witness firsthand the capabilities of the Arkansas National Guard’s aviation assets while taking in incredible aerial views of Central Arkansas 🌆✨

A special thank you to Lieutenant Colonel Randal Hobbs, Commander of the Arkansas National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility, for hosting our members and guests, and to all of our military leaders for your steadfast dedication and service to our state and nation 👏
