Join us Saturday, April 25 at 8:00 for the annual bird walk at the Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation, followed by a 10:00 presentation by DNR North Grasslands Biologist Adam DeLucenay. Bring a sack lunch and stay for Tippe Audubon's short annual meeting at 11:00. Come when you can, stay as long as you want. No need to register.

Did you know many species of grassland birds are in decline in northern Indiana? These include species pictured here: Henslow's Sparrow, Ring-necked Pheasant, and Northern Bobwhite.

Join us Saturday, April 11 for a 9:00 bird field trop and a 10:00-Noon W**d Wrangle. Come and stay as long as you can. Bring binoculars for the birding and work gloves and loppers to help remove invasive plants.

Still thinking about joining us Saturday for the Waterfowl Festival? The morning field trip includes five locations. This morning a nesting pair of Trumpeter Swans was identified at one of the spots. Many other species of waterfowl were spotted too. The weather looks promising... and there's still time to register until Wednesday at 5pm. The daylong festival includes lunch and is only $20. Beyer Farm Boardwalk and Trail Field Trip Saturday - Join trip leader Dave Hicks and birding friends for a Valentine's morning walk along Pike Lake in Warsaw. Temps have gotten warmer and the snow and ice are starting to melt, bringing birds back to the lake and into the trees. Photos taken this winter along and near the trail.

Meet at 9:30. The trailhead parking lot is near MedStat at 1500 Provident Drive, Warsaw, just off of US 30 and close to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital.
