Our team is GROWING! Please help us welcome Austin Minnis and Mason Pickens to our crew.

Austin will serve as our Program Associate supporting the Community Foundation's community leadership and nonprofit capacity building efforts including support of our Imagine Early program and Imagine One 85.

Mason is our Marketing Manager and will help share our mission, highlight the impact of our work, and connect more people to the opportunities and resources available through our organization.

We are excited to have both on board and look forward to the creativity and energy they'll bring in and outside of our office.

As we reflect on our 3rd annual Phillys Week, we are filled with gratitude for the people and organizations who make Wabash County such a special place to live.

We had the privilege of recognizing incredible partners in philanthropy, from public servants and educators to nonprofits, volunteers, and donors, each playing a role in strengthening our community.

Congratulations again to our 2026 Philly Award recipients:

Congratulations to Bob Ferguson, the recipient of the Community Foundation’s Philly for Philanthropist of the Year. Bob’s vision, leadership, and generosity have made a lasting impact on the Town of Roann and all of Wabash County. What began as an idea for a community park and playground, became a shwared vision because of his passion and persistence. Bob has dedicated countess hours over the last decade to planning, fundraising, and bringing the community together to make this dream a reality. He shows us that philanthropy is not just about giving financially, but about seeing a need, believing in what is possible, and inspiring others to join and support the cause. Bob’s leadership has created a place where families and children will gather for generations to come. Thank you Bob, for your commitment to Roann and Wabash Couny.

Today, the Community Foundation is honored to recognize the @ Wabash County Museum as our 2026 Nonprofit of the Year. The Museum's commitment to preserving Wabash County’s history while creating innovative, engaging, and inclusive experiences for our community is truly remarkable.
From its educational programming and internship opportunities to community events, like Night at the Museum, mini golf, and Wabash County Sports Hall of Fame, the museum continues to provide an incredible experience to thousands of visitors each year. The talented board and staff have truly made the Museum not only a place to learn, but a place where people of all ages and abilities feel connected to Wabash County's history.

Congratulations to Diane Morris, the Community Foundation's recipient for the 2026 Giving Here Volunteer Philly award. Diane's service to Wabash County has touched so many lives (both people and animals!). From helping shape the energy and vibrancy of downtown Wabash through being a co-founder of First Fridays and helping to lead the former Arts and Herb festivals, to volunteering thousands of hours at the Animal Shelter, her impact is both visible and deeply felt. Many in the community also know Diane for her beautiful handmade quilts, her support and volunteerism at community events like Dam to Dam and Run the River, and her willingness to always showing up when help is needed. She leads by example and inspires others to do the same. Thanks again Diane for all you do for our community!
