The 8th Annual Sweat for Vets with All-Star Nutrition is on Saturday, September 12th, and registration is open! Sweat for Vets is an amazing, community-focused event that raises money for the Veterans Court VFW Post 950!

The event is completely free to attend and check out, though some activities cost extra! They will have tons of amazing activities, including an outdoor workout hosted by Fitness For 10, a wing-eating contest hosted by Wing Stop, a truck pull competition hosted by Mankato Motors, and more!

Please join us in welcoming one of our newest FOCP Board Members, Nick Rose, General Manager at Talisman Designs!

Nick’s connection to FOCP started in childhood – helping with school deliveries alongside his dad – and the experience stayed with him. As he shared, “Seeing how many kids were actually in need completely changed my perspective… it turned something I didn’t fully understand into something real.”

What began with those deliveries grew into years of involvement through volunteering and fundraising. Now, Nick is taking the next step, bringing his passion and firsthand understanding of FOCP’s work to the board.

We’re excited to have Nick helping move this mission forward and reach even more local kids. Welcome to the team, Hunger Hero! Fun fact: His favorite childhood snack… Pizza Rolls.

Our kids are our kids. And when they need us, we show up.

During our "It's Awesome Supporting Local Kids" campaign, so many of you stepped up to make a bigger difference and join the community of Monthly Meal Makers. Thank you!

Did you know all of FOCP’s Food Programs are both FREE and CONFIDENTIAL? We believe in eliminating barriers to food access, and our enrollment process is designed to be simple to reflect that.

That means there are no financial requirements for accessing our services, and all applicant information is kept private. To enroll, families can submit a form online or complete one in person at their child’s school at any time throughout the school year.
