Come Experience the “Dancing Umbrellas”!

Hanford Boulevard is shining brighter than ever. Stop by and see how creativity is transforming North Miami Beach.

On December 3rd, 2025, during Art Basel week, the installation of handcrafted crochet umbrellas brought our community together in a vibrant celebration of color, culture, and local artistry.

This public beautification reflects the library’s commitment to supporting local artists and offering accessible cultural programming, as well as the CRA’s ongoing enhancements to Hanford Boulevard, including new lighting, updated trees and landscaping, and improved sidewalks.

Come take a walk, snap a photo, and enjoy the artistry that’s reimagining our city.

The North Miami Beach CRA offers a Wastewater Connection Assistance Program to help property owners connect to the city’s sewer system!

This ongoing grant program supports improvements to older properties in the Redevelopment Area by reimbursing part of the connection costs:

✅ Up to $10,000 for single-family & duplex residential properties
✅ Up to $22,000 for commercial or multi-family residential properties
✅ Up to $40,000 for restaurants and food/beverage establishments
