Oleta River Adventures Oleta River Outdoor Center is the official concession operator for Oleta River State Park in Florida.

We offer a variety of recreational equipment rentals, including paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, and bicycles, so you can enjoy the park’s scenic waterways, mangrove forests, and miles of off-road bicycling trails. Come explore the Biscayne Bay on one of our guided tours (Full Moon Tour, Sunset Tour, and Daily Eco Tours). Then, savor local seafood and American-style cuisine at our new waterfront restaurant, Blue Marlin Fish House. We also offer full-service event planning for special events and weddings to help you find the perfect location for an unforgettable day.

The mangrove tunnel that opened up to still, glassy water with no one else around. The heron that didn't move even as you paddled within ten feet. The second you came out of the trees and the whole bay opened up in front of you. 🚣‍♂️

No flight. No long drive. No planning six months out. 🙂

Oleta River State Park sits ten minutes from downtown Miami, and somehow that's enough distance to make the city disappear completely. Mangrove trails instead of traffic. Open water instead of skyline noise. A beach that feels like it shouldn't exist this close to a major city, but does. 🏖️

Get away from it all, in the middle of it all. That's not a slogan here. That's just what a Tuesday looks like. 😎

As the sun goes down, the moon comes out, and so do the ghosts. Golden hour turns to full moon glow, and the water gets a little spookier with every paddle stroke. This is what Ghost & Ghouls looks like right before the costumes and campfire kick in.

Monday is a holiday, which means an extra day to actually use. Kayak rentals, mountain bike trails, a beach for the kids to burn off energy, and Oleta River Grill open all day if nobody wants to cook. 😎🚣

POV: you're paddling under the full moon... in costume 👻🌕

Our Ghost & Ghouls Full Moon Paddle is happening October 24th, 6-9pm at Oleta River State Park. Glide through the mangroves as the moon rises, dressed up for Halloween, with the whole crew lighting up the water beside you. One night only, spots are limited.

The Snorkel Adventure Kayak Tour takes you out by kayak into the clear water of Biscayne Bay. You paddle out, drop in, and what's underneath isn't what you'd expect from a park inside a major city, marine life, clear water, zero crowds.

No boat, no captain, no experience required. It runs Thursday through Sunday, so today's one of the days.

Sunset Kayak Tour launches from Beach Cove. 🌆

Guided group paddle out as the sky goes gold, then orange, then deep violet behind the skyline. Bonfire and s'mores when you land back on the beach. 😎
