Summer has been here for nearly a month. We have experienced a good taste of what it can be with... 90 degree days. The official start of summer can be determined by the Earth's tilt. Don't worry - the floor at the AMVETS will be perfectly flat, unless you need an excuse. On Friday, July 17th, from 5-7P, the RIder's will be serving up those famous Tenderloin Dinners. You deserve a break. If you can't stay, carry outs are available and can be called ahead on 309- 382-9129. The AC will be cranked down low and the refreshments will be cold. And always a friendly bunch. The Auxillary will have those goodies available over in the corner, to take care of that sweet tooth. Help spread the word by doing a "Like" and "Share" on this post. Spring is that season between winter and summer, marked by warming temperatures, longer days, and the awakening of nature. In May, spring comes to an end and summer is around the corner. In the mean time the flowers are all in bloom, animals have migrated back, and we have increased plant growth, with yard work, lawn mowing and planting of gardens. Take a break on Friday, May 15th and let the Riders do the cooking. We will be serving up those famous Tebnderloin Dinners, from 5P to 7P. The thermostat will be set, just right and the refreshments chilled. If you can't join us, carry outs can be called in on: 309-382-9129, and we will have them waiting for you. The Auxillary will be satisfying that sweet tooth, over in the corner. No room? Take some home for a treat b4 retiring for the evening. Hope to see "you all"!
