North Plainfield residents are reminded to move vehicles off of roadways when streets are snow covered. This will assist the NPDPW in clearing/plowing roadways. See below for "No Parking" streets during snow storms.

Residents are also encouraged to stay off of roadways during inclement weather.

Recently, members of North Plainfield NJ PBA Local 85 linked up with members of the North Plainfield Professional Firefighters, Local 2958 and participated in the annual Tunnels to Towers 5k. Proceeds from this event benefitted survivors of 9/11, families of fallen First Responders, and Veterans. Kudos to all participants!

Police Officer Didarul Islam represents the very best of our department.

He was protecting New Yorkers from danger when his life was tragically cut short today.

We join in prayer during this time of incomprehensible pain. We will forever honor his legacy.

Our hearts and prayers are with the NYPD and the entire City of New York.

We mourn with our brothers and sisters in the NYPD on this horrific night. A HERO officer has lost his life protecting innocent lives in Manhattan tonight. Several people have been killed by the gunman. Pray for the officer’s family, along with the families of all those killed tonight.
