On Thursday, March 21 at 7 PM in the meeting room of The Petrified Wood Gallery, Tony Barton from Leavenworth, KS will be with us. He will be answering questions and discussing a number of different topics in the area of voting, and the importance of the church being involved both socially and politically in America. Tony is a 4-state manager for Turning Point USA, the organization started by Charlie Kirk.
Charlie began this organization at the age of 18 in 2012. It has now grown into over 3500 student movement groups on high school, college, and university campuses.

About Tony Barton
Tony graduated from Bellevue West High School in 1979. Upon graduation, Tony joined the Navy where he worked in communications and law enforcement. He was honorably discharged after completing his duty of pre-commissioning and commissioning the USS Carl Vinson CVN70, at that time America's latest and greatest aircraft carrier.
Tony worked for the Nebraska Department of Corrections for almost six years while pursuing credentials in ministerial studies. Simultaneously, Tony opened a martial arts school and for the next nine years, while operating M.A.C.H. Force, he and his dynamic team traveled extensively around the country presenting an exciting and effective program in schools, churches, and at community events. Working with local Chambers of Commerce and school and city administrators, Tony’s martial arts demonstration combined with an educational message raised awareness about drug and alcohol abuse and gang violence.
Upon completion of his ministerial internship, Tony was ordained and pursued ministerial positions. His career path led him to serve as a Youth Minister, Associate Pastor, and Senior Pastor. Affiliated with World Bible Way Fellowship, Inc., Tony has served as Pastor of New Life Fellowship Church in Leavenworth, Kansas since 2001. He also worked in radio, hosting his own radio show on Fox affiliate KKLO1410 “Conversation America”. Presently he hosts a Podcast called “Be Courageous” discussing cultural issues and interviewing courageous people across America. Tony served in the Kansas legislature from 2014-16 and continues to fight for liberty and freedom.
Presently he works for TPUSA/Faith, a division of Turning Point USA, the organization that Charlie Kirk started. He is the Regional Manager for the Plains states: Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska.
Tony Barton has been married since 1986 to the former Arlene Weston, who serves our community as an emergency room nurse. Tony and Arlene have three daughters, one son, and 11 grandchildren.
