A quick F1P update 💙

You may have noticed that our office has been quieter than usual over the past week. Our F1P team has been taking some much-needed time away from the office, so our response times and availability have looked a little different than normal.

We’re getting back into our regular rhythm this week and working through messages, applications, referrals, and other requests as quickly as we can. We appreciate your patience while we get caught back up!

As always, our goal is to be here when families need us—and we’re grateful for your understanding. 💙

What a great evening!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Together in Recovery last night. It was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate recovery, enjoy a meal, and connect.

A special thanks to those who shared their recovery stories. Your willingness to share your experiences made the evening truly meaningful, and we appreciate the encouragement and hope you brought to everyone.

Thank you as well to the volunteers, community partners, New Life Chuch, and everyone who helped make the event possible. Thank you for helping make it such a memorable event!

211 Nebraska, in partnership with United Way of the Midlands, Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, Boys Town, and Findhelp, is developing a statewide Warmline — a free resource people can call or text when they need support, guidance, or help connecting to services before a situation becomes a crisis.

Think of it this way: a hotline is for emergencies. A warmline is for the moments when someone is struggling but not in immediate danger.

We want this Warmline to truly serve Nebraska families, and that means we need input from people like you.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month—a time to raise awareness, strengthen families, and support safe, nurturing environments for children. 💙
As we move into May, we continue that conversation with Children’s Mental Health Awareness Month—because protecting children also means supporting their emotional well-being.
