The North Platte Senior Center provides fun and healthy activities for North Platte’s Senior Citizens. We do provide a monthly newsletter that may be picked up at our office. Monthly lunch menus are posted in the North Platte Telegraph as well as being broadcasted through local radio stations. Rooms are available to rent for your Special Events – Give us a call today! The North Platte Senior Center is sponsored in part by West Central Nebraska Area Agency on Aging, the City of North Platte, United Way, and matching funds from Meal Contributions, Public Bingo & Special Fundraising Events, along with personal donations, and Memorials. The North Platte Senior Center is a non-profit organization that provides a place for referrals, services, and recreation to persons 60 years of age or older. NUTRITOUS MEALS
Nutritious noon meals are served Monday through Friday at a suggested donation rate of $5.50 for persons 60 and over. Persons under the age of 60 are welcome to enjoy the meals at a set price of $7.50 per person. Home delivered meals are delivered Monday through Friday at a suggested donation of $5.50 per meal. A person most be homebound or handicapped, and age 60 or over. Doctor’s orders will be obtained by the Senior Center.
