We are a living history unit portraying the men and women of 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment from 1944-1945. We are split into two companies, Headquarters Company, and Able Company. This allows us to demonstrate both the combat and non-combat roles of this unit during the Second World War. We try to run our unit as close to how a military unit would have run during the time. We have an effect

ive chain of command. We strive to be as authentic as safely possible with our impressions. We strive to learn as much as we can from first hand accounts and other histories of the campaigns that the 4th Infantry Division, and particularly the 8th Infantry Regiment took place in.
