π NEW at Pineapple Place - a letterbox! π
Are you familiar with letterboxing? A precursor to geocaching that dates back to 1854, letterboxes are small, weatherproof boxes hidden in publicly accessible places, containing a notebook and a stamp. To play, you need your own notebook and stamp - find the box using the clues on the website listed below, make a print of our stamp in your notebook, and put a print of your own stamp in our logbook so we know you found it! Don't forget your trail name, date, and a note if you'd like π
You can learn more and keep track of your finds at atlasquest . com. THIS IS ALSO WHERE YOU CAN FIND THE CLUES AS TO WHERE THE BOX IS HIDING AT PINEAPPLE PLACE. Just make a free account and you'll be able to search out boxes to find wherever you might be.
We did lots of letterboxing all over Florida and other states when our kids were small, and the logbooks are a great memento of the fun adventures we had.
We look forward to seeing your stamps! I'm attaching a pic of our stamp here, as well as what the box looks like - but you have to find it first! Get the clues and come check it out π
