Bayflite 2 was honored to recently participate in the AHEC Health Career and LECOM Health Exploration Camp at HCA Florida Blake Hospital! It was a great opportunity to meet and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals by sharing what we do and giving students a closer look at the world of critical care transport.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success and to the students for your enthusiasm, curiosity, and great questions. We hope to see you in the future!

One of the perks of the job is reconnecting with old friends along the way. Whether it’s a familiar face in the emergency department, a former coworker, or someone we’ve crossed paths with throughout our careers, it’s always great to catch up while delivering patients to the hospitals we serve.

Healthcare is a small community, and we’re proud to work alongside so many dedicated professionals who share the same mission of caring for others. Thanks to all of our hospital partners and friends who make every patient handoff a team effort.

Today, the crews of Bayflite 2 and Bayflite 3 had the opportunity to share knowledge and hands-on skills at EMS Day, presented by HCA Florida Blake Hospital at Manatee Technical College.

Our focus: difficult airway management — one of the most critical and high-stakes challenges in prehospital and critical care medicine.

These events aren’t just about teaching—they’re about strengthening the entire EMS community. When we train together, we respond stronger together.
