At Award Living Solutions, we believe life is about so much more than services, programs, or a place to call home.
❤️ It’s about belonging.
Over the past few months, we’ve watched our individuals and families create memories, build friendships, discover new abilities, celebrate accomplishments, and become an active part of the communities around them.
We’ve cheered on our athletes at the Special Olympics as they competed, earned medals, and showed everyone what determination looks like.
🎨 We’ve watched creativity come to life through incredible art projects — from beautiful paintings and Artist of the Month celebrations to Starry Night pumpkins and projects that allowed every individual to express themselves in their own way.
🎂 We’ve celebrated birthdays together — because every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated.
🍳 We’ve learned new skills through cooking, preparing meals, volunteering, community cleanups, and hands-on job-skills activities that build confidence and greater independence.
🤝 We’ve worked alongside organizations in our communities, including volunteering to help prepare care packages for families impacted by breast cancer.
🚒 We’ve learned important life and safety skills with members of our local community, including hands-on fire extinguisher training.
🏅 We’ve bowled. We’ve played softball. We’ve swam. We’ve created. We’ve cooked. We’ve volunteered. We’ve laughed. We’ve celebrated victories big and small.
But most importantly…
We’ve built relationships.
Because at Award Living Solutions, our mission isn’t simply to provide support. It’s to help create a life filled with purpose, connection, opportunity and belonging.
Our individuals aren’t standing on the sidelines of their communities.
They are part of them.
They are athletes.
They are artists.
They are volunteers.
They are friends.
They are coworkers.
They are neighbors.
They are family.
And behind every accomplishment are families, staff members, DSPs, community partners and supporters working together to make those opportunities possible.
