Yesterday, Aquatics Manager Devon Poulos joined North Port Fire Rescue Firefighter/Paramedic Benitez for a Community Water Rescue Awareness presentation at Grand Paradiso. Together, the team discussed how to recognize the signs of swimmer distress, properly use lifesaving equipment and practice water rescue techniques.

Water safety is extremely important to us. We are committed to sharing important information and practical skills that help residents stay safe in, on and around the water.

If your HOA, condominium association or community group is interested in hosting a water safety presentation, please contact us at 941-429-PARK (7275) to schedule a presentation or learn more.

We have officially kicked off summer and Week 1 of camp was filled with adventure, friendship and fun.

Some of the highlights from our first week included field trips to the Beach and Sky Zone, where campers enjoyed a variety of recreational activities and experiences.

Campers in the GMAC Summer Camp program had the opportunity to learn about drone technology from the North Port Police Department. Teen Xtreme Camp participants teamed up with First Tee to learn golf fundamentals, sportsmanship and new skills on the course.

These are just a few of the many experiences our campers enjoyed as they reconnected with friends, started making new memories and kicked off the summer season. We can't wait to see what adventures the rest of the summer brings!
