From Monday, June 22 through Thursday, June 25, after 10:00pm, Metrorail Red Line trains will be single tracking between the Rhode Island Avenue and Takoma Park stations for rail tamping and track stabilization.

Fresh improvements on Burdette Road! 🚧✨
MCDOT contract crews recently completed residential road resurfacing, and these photos capture part of the process from the milling work during base repairs to the smooth, newly resurfaced finish.

📢 Reminder - Purple Line Virtual Public Hearings
Two separate virtual public hearings will be held this week to review the Purple Line BiPPA sidewalk proposals for the Long Branch and Manchester Place Purple Line stations in Silver Spring.
-Long Branch Station Hearing
Tues., June 23 • 6:30–8:30 PM

-Manchester Place Station Hearing
Thurs., June 25 • 6:30–8:30 PM

These hearings are a great opportunity for residents to learn about the proposed sidewalk improvements, ask questions, and share feedback.
