Yesterday we had our last Thursday Little Tike Hike Session 😭!! Coach Rebecca and Coach Beatriz took the group out to Charles Ward Reservation in Andover to do the Bog walk, When the group walked down the trail to bog they spotted multiple signs pointed out what kind of species live around the bog and how you can point them out! Coach Rebecca also pointed out a unique flower known as a pitcher plant which eats bugs, Pretty cool huh?! The group then made their way down the boardwalk to the floating dock to look for maybe some fish, Turtles and some frogs, A few turtles were spotted in the distance & few frogs were hopping around. Down the boardwalk to the dock and back a few little snakes were spotted by the group! While at the dock the group did a little craft which was a paper plate caterpillar that they could design their color and the face of their caterpillar. Check out below for some Little Tike Hike fun!πŸ₯ΎπŸΈπŸ›πŸπŸ’πŸŒ·β˜€οΈ

USTA New England's Social Tennis League offers the opportunity for adults ages 21 and up throughout New England to meet new people through the game of tennis. This league is a great way to improve your skills or get back into tennis in a fun, social environment. All levels are welcome to join as long as you can serve, rally, and know the rules at a minimum, since this league is match-based. Teams are co-ed, and matches should be level-based. Our Recreational league is for lower-level players (novice/2.5 and low intermediate/3.0), and our Intermediate league is for higher-level players (intermediate/3.5 or high intermediate/4.0).
If you are unsure which league is right for you, we suggest starting with Recreational. You can also email [email protected], and we can help you determine the appropriate league. The first night of each season is a fun hit-around night so players can get some practice in before matches start and meet the other players in the league. In the following weeks, players will be assigned a one-hour doubles match at either 6, 7, or 8 pm. The final week is playoffs to determine the winning team for the season. USTA provides all balls as well as captain gifts and winner prizes. All you need to bring is your racquet. Every player who registers for the league must complete a team placement form prior to the start of the league. This form helps us to place you on a team based on your playing level, availability, and teammate requests. 7-Week Program.
