2,000 bartenders, servers, cooks and dishwashers at SoFi Stadium voted to authorize a strike just days before the U.S. opens World Cup play against Paraguay on June 12. The timing puts pressure on contract negotiations that have stalled over pay and immigration concerns.

NTX ALF’s COPE (Committee on Political education) committee screened and made the recommendation to endorse . To show Dr Shelton the importance of his runoff race to labor, the President, Executve Director, and the COPE Chair are knocking on doors to turn out the vote for labor’s candidate, rain or shine!

Voting for the runoff continues today and tomorrow. Election Day is June 13th.
