Mary Gorjanc, North Royalton City Council President I was first elected as Ward 4 Council Representative in 2023 and re-elected in 2025.

After Mayor Antoskiewicz retired and Paul Marnecheck moved from Council President to Mayor, City Council members elected me to be Council President in May of 2026.

Residents have reported receiving phone calls from someone impersonating NOPEC, making claims about their bill and pressuring them to take action.

As a reminder, NOPEC will NEVER call or visit your home unexpectedly to request account information, ask for copies of your bill, or pressure you to switch suppliers.

If something feels off, especially if there's urgency or pressure, it's likely a scam. Do not share any information.

If you're unsure, contact NOPEC directly at 855-667-3201 to verify or report suspicious activity.

Our School Resource Officers (SROs) are thrilled to be starting a new school year this week. They want to remind everyone to stop properly for school busses, and to have patience with the inevitable traffic congestion that happens around the school buildings. Don't forget, when the school flashers are on...you're in a 20 MPH Zone. Here's to a safe and happy school year for all.
