Let's try a little AI exercise. If you put this photo into your AI program of choice, it will tell you all of the things that are wrong with it (believe us, it's a very long list) Recently, a citizen came up to the Police Station with this warrant that was "texted" to them. NO LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY will text you a warrant. They then received a call from a male instructing them to withdrawal several thousand dollars to deposit into a 3rd party bonding terminal (whatever that is) and turn themselves in to the local Sheriff. Luckily, the citizen came up to the police station and was advised this was a scam before any financial damage could take place. No law enforcement agency uses "3rd party bonding terminals" to collect money from people who are then expected to turn themselves in. The names on the warrant are fictitious and generally Law Enforcement does not use the rank of Major (except the Highway Patrol and some Sheriff's Offices) While the citizen was on station, the male continued to call, the phone was answered by an officer who thanked the scammer for his assistance and that we had the citizen in custody and he would be seeing a Judge shortly (not really) This led to great consternation from the scammer, who was then hung up on. Always call your local law enforcement agency before undertaking any large financial transactions that you are directed to take by unknown persons.

They want to remind everyone to stop properly for school busses, and to have patience with the inevitable traffic congestion that happens around the school buildings. Don't forget, when the school flashers are on...you're in a 20 MPH Zone. Here's to a safe and happy school year for all.
