We are proud to recognize Mrs. Kristi Maloney as the 2026 SDAESP Instructional Leader of the Year!

While Mrs. Maloney serves as our Elementary Principal her impact reaches far beyond the elementary building. She plays a crucial role in our district-wide curriculum decisions by working closely with staff to strengthen instruction and drive academic improvement. While doing all of that, she also finds time to support our transportation department and their various needs.

Kristi is the kind of leader who consistently does whatever is needed to help Dakota Valley students and staff succeed. She leads with purpose, supports her colleagues, and keeps students at the center of every decision.

Congratulations, Kristi! We are incredibly grateful for all you do for Dakota Valley!
