A big thank you to Miss Laurie from Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) for visiting Child Center today! 🐢

We had a wonderful time meeting Turt the Turtle, singing songs, and learning about turtles and tortoises from near and far. Experiences like these help spark curiosity and a love of learning in our children.

We appreciate VINS sharing their knowledge and bringing this special hands-on opportunity to our classrooms! 💚

We are grateful to Vermont Parks Forever for partnering with us to help families connect with Vermont's beautiful state parks.

Since 2016, Vermont Parks Forever's Park Access Fund has provided free park passes to thousands of Vermonters who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience all that Vermont's state parks have to offer. In 2026, the Park Access Fund Pilot will expand access even further, helping more than 100,000 Vermonters enjoy free day-use entry to state parks throughout the summer.

Vermonters receiving services through the Department for Children and Families' Economic Services Division and/or WIC are eligible for free day-use entry, including those participating in 3SquaresVT, the Essential Person Program, Fuel Assistance, General Assistance, Reach Up, Summer EBT, and WIC.

💚If you are not eligible for this program but would still like to enjoy Vermont's state parks, please contact us. Through our partnership with Vermont Parks Forever, we have a limited number of free park passes available to help local children and families access outdoor recreation and make lasting memories together.

✨Interested in a free park pass? Contact SAPCC at [email protected] or 802-886-5242

We would like to gather feedback from families about their preferred time and format for attending a Parent Ed class for Parenting the Neurodivergent Child.
