We would like to thank the members, and family’s of members for attending our annual Christmas dinner.

We would like to Congratulate our well deserved Fire Fighter of the year Patrick Rowe. Patrick has been a true inspiration to this station, one of a kind, always leading by example. In the past year, Patrick has been battling Cancer, fighting with chemo, but no matter the call, the drills, and training he was always there along with fighting battles of his own! Patrick, we appreciate everything you do, and continue to do, and thank you for your dedicated service.

We would also like to Congratulate our Officer of the year, Lt. Carter Alley, Carter has always lead by example also. He’s a jack of all trades, if he can’t do it, he’s always willing to learn. He’s just one of those guys if you need him, you can call him, rather it’s for the station or personal. Carter, we appreciate your dedicated service to this station!

Also, we would like to give thanks for our Junior Department program. Jaxon, Bradley, Noah, Trea, and Hunter for all they do for our department.

Please be careful and cautious on the roadways

Snow is expected to begin tonight and continue into the early morning hours. Road conditions may deteriorate quickly, especially on bridges, overpasses, and rural roads throughout the county. The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office urges everyone to use caution if you must be out.

👉 Slow down
👉 Increase following distance
👉 Allow extra time for travel

Please stay alert for changing weather conditions and watch for emergency crews and VDOT personnel working to keep roads clear. Your safety is our priority.
