An expansion is coming to NT! New development projects like these are a testament to the innovation and investment right here in our City. When we build and expand locally, our economy benefits through job creation and attract additional investment. Can’t wait to see its completion.

Techniglass Corp., a 28-year-old manufacturer of equipment for the stained-glass industry, is seeking to expand across the street while adding incubator space for startup firms.

An incredible expansion for NT businesses!

Yesterday, business owners, City officials, Lumber City Development Corporation, and many others joined Pamela Bruns-Green to celebrate the continued growth of Spiritually Rooted and the launch of The Root at 44–52 Webster Street.

What began as a single Spiritually Rooted storefront has grown into The Root, a collection of complementary businesses brought together under one roof with a shared focus on personal wellness, creativity, and spirituality.

With support from a Microenterprise Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) secured by the City and administered through Lumber City Development Corporation, this expansion has helped create 20 new jobs across the businesses now calling The Root home.

The growing collection includes Spiritually Rooted, Spiritually Rooted in Miracles, Spiritually Fulfilled, Balanced Infusions, American Skin Art, and The Root itself, along with the relocation of Cindy’s Nails.

Together, they offer an incredibly diverse range of services, including mental and spiritual wellness, nail care, wellness infusions, tattoo artistry, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, event and party space, tarot and palm readings, and much more.

Each business brings something different to the space while complementing Pamela’s larger vision for The Root. It is exciting to see this kind of entrepreneurship, job creation, and continued investment happening in NT.

Congratulations to Pamela, her team, and all of the business owners and partners whose hard work helped bring this exciting expansion to life!
