The Heritage Protection and Emergency Management team is in a unique position to provide consulting and training on all aspects of archaeological resource protection. We can assist in the detection and investigation of archaeological violations and in archaeological violation case report preparation. We provide full archaeological damage assessment services for both terrestrial and submerged resou

rces, including on-site damage assessment, ARPA based value and cost determination, and archaeological damage assessment report preparation. We also review and analyze products of investigative and damage assessment services obtained from other sources and can provide a full range of pre-trial and trial services, including grand jury and expert witness testimony. Our investigation and damage assessment services are available for both criminal and civil cases. We also offers training on investigation, damage assessment, and litigation and provides any other archaeological resource protection services required, including the preparation of site vulnerability assessments and cultural resource protection plans for terrestrial and submerged archaeological resources. Our staff members, Martin E. Griffel, and Brent Kober have over 100 years of combined experience in this area, more than any other source offering similar services.
