We love the park and hope you do too! Muscatatuck Park, created in 1921 as Indiana’s fourth State Park. 215 acres of rolling forested hills with many small waterfalls and a good sized cliff-line. Multiple shelters with a modern Dining Hall are great for family reunions, birthday parties, weddings, etc. Trails are multiple use (mountain bike and hiking) and we have a bit under 10 miles currently. Historic buildings and pioneer ruins from around 1840, many upgrades happened in the CCC/WPA era.

Short ride but pretty darn hard. Headwinds and 3850 ft of gain at elevation. Reduced to 5 mph much of the time.Then camp...

Then camp closed…what? A few cars parked outside gate? Oohhh bike will go around that gate! Whole camp to myself, with lake and snowy peaks… Rad. Then contractor came in to check a few things and let me stay! Super nice.
Finish Mtn am, another 1580, for over mile incline. Cameron Pass 10276. Snowy peaks back drop…bullet day!

Walden….city park…nice…chill.

Active rest, meet some climbers, cool extreme to moderate white water.....prep for departure.
