Road Closure 9/1 & 9/2. Greensburg Street between Buckeye and Woodlawn Drive will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:30am to 5:00pm. Dave O'Mara Contractor, Inc. Crews will be on site completing this project. Slow down if in this area and keep all crews safe. Thank you.

Good evening, Scipio Community!

For starters, we would like to thank everyone who has reached out to us about burning brush piles and has offered donations. We are extremely grateful for your continued support!

Our firefighters are slowly working through the scheduling process and completing burns as conditions and availability allow. Please be patient with us, as the majority of these burns will take place on weekends.

If you have a brush pile that you would like burned, or if you do not feel comfortable burning it yourself, please reach out to us through our page. We would be happy to get your pile added to our schedule!

Due to the cost of fuel, water, and operating our apparatus, we ask for a minimum $50 donation for brush pile burning services. Donations above the minimum are always greatly appreciated and help support Scipio-Geneva Fire Rescue and our ability to continue serving our community.
