Jennings County Middle School Jennings County Middle School is a part of the Jennings County School Corporation that caters to grades 7 and 8. Hours are from 7:45am-4:00pm Monday-Friday.

Social Media is a great way to share info about our school - but if you have an emergency or timely issue, please call JCMS @ 812-346-4940 The purpose of this page is to inform our parents and the community about school events and to show off what our students are doing. The Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams will begin practices on June 15th from 7:00 - 8:15 AM at the Muscatatuck Park on Monday - Thursday until the school year begins. June 29th - July 10th will be Moratorium Week for JCHS and JCMS, so there will be no practices during that time. A reminder that if your student is participating in practices, they should have a physical on file.

Before your summer schedule starts getting full, add New Student Orientation to your calendar!

JCMS is hosting a 4 hour, student-only day where incoming 7th graders get to connect with other kids in the county so they can have a more confident first day back.

Students will be able to see their own schedule, open up their own locker, meet teachers, play games, and win prizes!

Make sure that your student is set up for a successful transition to middle school by coming to NSO on WEDNESDAY, JULY 29TH from 10am-2pm. Lunch will be provided!

Congratulations to the 2030 Cohort for earning an incredible 459 high school credits while at Jennings County Middle School!

This is a huge accomplishment and a reflection of our students’ hard work, determination, and willingness to challenge themselves. These credits represent more than numbers. They represent early momentum, future opportunities, and Panthers already taking steps toward success in high school and beyond.

We are so proud of this group and can’t wait to see what they continue to accomplish!
